Reciprocity was born from the desire to propose a shared reflection on the issues of Just Transition through a multidisciplinary and generative approach; it aims to be an inspiration for new models: as a key word to build another relationship between the living heritage of local communities for a collective and inclusive well-being.
The project explores issues considered particularly urgent for the living heritage of local communities, starting with the specific cases of Turin and Malaga: the care of public green, co-housing, the right to housing, community practices and urban policies for the management of natural resources.
The project took place in Turin on Sept. 20 and 21 with a series of talks, creative workshops and artistic interventions aimed at creating a collective work curated by artist Eva Frapiccini: an installation that collected thoughts and requests for the future of co-housing with the natural environment, made on fabric and lending itself to traveling exhibitions.
The work has been exhibited at Toolbox Coworking in Turin and it will be enriched by other interventions realized during another collaborative workshop that will take place at the Casa Invisible in Malaga in March 2025, on the occasion of the initiative’s second event of discussion.
